BYREDO is a Swedish perfume brand founded in 2006 by Ben Gorham. BYREDO's ambition is to evoke emotions and memories through scents. What sets BYREDO's fragrances apart is simplicity and a select few well-chosen ingredients, an idea born from Swedish minimalism.

BYREDO's founder, Ben Gorham, became fascinated by scents and the memories they evoke during a trip to his mother's hometown in India. There, he was moved by the aromas of spices and incense. The fragrance Chembur is based on this very scent memory. Many of BYREDO's fragrances are based on memories from Ben's life and background.
